Guilds and Groups
What gifts can you offer Our Saviour?
-
St. Florian's Guild
Our tiny but mighty guild of St. Florian keeps the smoke flowing from the thurible: an outward and visible sign of the prayers of the faithful rising to heaven.
-
Kitchen Keepers
If you have a gift for organisation and love the look and feel of a kitchen space where everything is clean and in its place, you might make a great Kitchen Keeper. This group keeps our Kitchen looking fabulous!
-
St. Vincent of Saragossa Guild (Altar Servers)
Altar Servers carry the torches, the processional cross, ring the Sanctus bells, and help the priest with Holy Mass.
-
Guild of St. Joseph the Carpenter
Do you like to fix things? The Guild of St. Joseph is a group that keeps our church in good repair!
-
St. Anne's Altar Guild
Altar Guild members set the altar area up for Holy Mass, polish metal items, launder altar linens, and clean up after masses.
-
St. Fiacre's Garden Guild
Our Garden Guild keeps our grounds green, beautiful, and overflowing with flowers. If you like to garden, this guild is for you!
-
St. Bernadette's Flower Guild
Come and make beautiful arrangements for our masses. No experience necessary! Our gifted group of florists can teach you what you need to know.
-
Reception Committee
This gifted group sets up and provides receptions for parish events from funeral receptions to parish potlucks. This group needs folks to set up and move tables as well as folks who love to make delicious food.
-
St. Bede's Guild of Lectors
Lectors at the Church of Our Saviour read the Old Testament and New Testament lessons at Holy Mass and read the Prayers of the People.
-
St. Gregory's Choir
Do you like to sing? Come sing with us! St. Gregory’s Choir welcomes all levels of experience. Make a joyful noise!
-
Lemonade In The Shade (LITS)/Cocoa in the Cold
We enjoy delicious snacks or treats after mass with beverages appropriate to the weather! Held outside in the plaza when possible, this ministry happens because of the energy and generosity of the folks willing to bring items and set up.
-
Greeters, Ushers, and Oblation Bearers
Perhaps you are called to be a friendly greeter, smiling at folks coming to mass and handing them a bulletin. Or perhaps an Usher, the folks who “pass the plates,” or the alms basins, during the Offertory. We also need Oblation Bearers who bring the gifts to the altar, the bread and wine that we use in Holy Communion. Sign up to be one, two, or all three!
-
Lay Eucharistic Visitors (LEVs)
Lay Eucharistic Visitors take Holy Communion to members of the congregation following Holy Mass when, because of illness or infirmity, are unable to be present.
-
Guild of St. Isidore of Seville (Technology)
Members of the Guild of St. Isidore make sure our livestreams run smoothly every week. If you’re tech-savvy and enjoy perfect camera angles, sound, and managing an iPad, this guild is for you!
