One of the more fun community engagement activities in which we participate as a parish is the Virginia-Highland District Candy Crawl. This year Candy Crawl is Wednesday, 25 October from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.. If you have not had the chance to participate in the past, this is your year!
It's a lot of fun. The kids say we give out way more candy than any of the other businesses on the block.
We need:
1. People to pass out candy to the little gremlins that come a crawling up! There are many of them who come in the best costumes. This neighbourhood takes Halloween seriously.
2. Bags of candy to distribute (many bags, there are usually several hundred munchkins who pass by)
If you cannot come that evening, but you would still like to provide candy, you can drop your candy off at the parish offices between now and then.
If you can participate that evening, just bring your candy with you that evening.
Come in costume if you like, or not!
It's a good time that evening.
